Whistleblowing

To promote a culture of ethics and legality in the workplace, as well as creating a climate of transparency, Midj S.p.a. has set up a reporting channel called “Whistleblowing” (also anonymous) of any violations or alleged offenses committed by individuals belonging to the company organization.

Midj S.p.a. ensures maximum protection and confidentiality to the informant/reporter from retaliation, illicit influence, inconvenience, and discrimination of any kind, for having duly reported a violation in compliance with EU Directive 2019/1937 and Legislative Decree. 24/2023.

This reporting channel exclusively concerns violations provided for by the above-mentioned regulations, listed below:

1. Crimes and offenses relating, among other things, to the following behaviors:

• Corruption;
• Money laundering, financial, tax and accounting crimes;
• Conflicts of interest;
• Protection of privacy and protection of personal data;
• Anti-competitive practices;
• Trade sanctions;
• Safety and compliance of products and services;
• Public health;
• Security of networks and information systems;
• Environmental protection;
• Corporate tax evasion;
• or Fraud.

2. Threat or prejudice to the public interest;

• Illegal and relevant conduct pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001;
• Violation of applicable laws regarding moral or sexual harassment, discrimination and violence in the workplace;
• Failure to respect human rights;
• Violation of the principle of non-retaliation.
