Our 2021: an emotional crescendo through events, challenges, and goals
As 2021 draws to a close, we’re excited to look back into those that have been the most meaningful moments of the year. Although complex in many respects, this past year has encouraged trends and creativity, allowing us to launch new and innovative collections. Our presence in the territory through local events adds to the newfound participation in Milan’s Supersalone. Let’s retrace these stages together.
An exclusive collection celebrates the new year
The year began with the introduction of a brand new collection: Area designed by Studio Pastina. This collaboration allowed us to introduce our first collection of sofas for the contract and the domestic sector.
Soft, generous, and voluminous lines evoke moments of relaxation and conviviality.
The soft design proposed by Midj in Italy attracts the viewer so much that Area earned itself the coveted Red Dot Design Award 2021.
More than just Salone
At the long-awaited international appointment with Supersalone 2021, the special edition of the traditional and beloved Salone del Mobile in Milan, we introduced P47. The new collection presents a strong and captivating soul that combines our concept of tradition with innovation.
Sophisticated workmanship, aesthetic refinement and functionality make P47 one of our most iconic collections.
Exclusive news at the Fuorisalone: the encounter with Paola Navone
At this year’s Fuorisalone, we were pleased to showcase a preview of the valuable partnership with the internationally renowned architect and designer Paola Navone. Unconventional, curious, and eclectic, the new Bolle collection will be available in 2022. Surely reflecting Paola’s personality, it remains faithful to the soft and harmonious lines typical in Midj’s style.

The Armando table turns 10
Its aesthetic is elegant and pure, the structure simple and versatile. We’re talking about Armando, the fixed table available in 2 heights and a wide selection of sizes. Designed by Balutto Associati, 2021 marks its 10th birthday. With its timeless essential lines and design, Armando continues to find the ideal spot in domestic, work, and contract projects.
Gaibledon, the exclusively Italian tournament
In June, the comfort of our Slim outdoor chairs accompanied the athletes participating in Gaibledon 2021, the first international tennis tournament on natural grass hosted in Italy. We can’t wait for the second edition.
The magic of music with “Il Piccolo Violino Magico”
“Il Piccolo Violino Magico” (The Little Magic Violin) is another prestigious international event held in our territory. We had the pleasure to support the event by providing on stage, side by side with the young violinists, our Nenè chairs designed by Paolo Vernier.
Together with Pordenonelegge
As every year, many prominent figures in the world of literature took part in the 22nd edition of Pordenonelegge. Our unmistakable Calla chairs, designed by Fabrizio Batoni, contributed to making the book festival ever more special.

FAI Autumn Days: our contribution to Italian history
For the FAI Autumn Days 2021, we chose to open the doors of our company to share, through a guided tour, some fundamental aspects of our experimentation and production processes, the reality in which we work, and our exclusive exhibition area. We were proud of the success reached thanks to the significant involvement of visitors. Guests had the chance to step into Midj’s world and, at the same time, support FAI and its mission in our wonderful country.

The new 3D configurator and the renewed Reserved Area are essential work tools designed to offer designers, architects, and furniture professionals an immersive experience starting from the development phase of an interior design project.
The 3D configurator allows to experiment with unlimited combinations of finishes and colors. This new tool provides an immediate view of our designer furniture solutions.

2021 has undoubtedly delivered numerous challenges, exciting news, and motivating growth. New collaborations, exclusive collections, and the long-awaited return of the Supersalone have allowed us to experience great joys and satisfaction.
