A journey in search of unique restaurant interior design ideas
What makes a restaurant furnished with taste and character? We explored three awe-inspiring projects created with delicate shades of color and timeless minimalism.
The encounter between tradition and modernity
The journey begins in our lovely country. We are in Puglia and, more precisely, in Trani, a picturesque and charming town overlooking the sea, to reach a brilliant Michelin star: the Quintessenza restaurant.
Clessidra table, design Paolo Vernier. Sonny armchair, design Midj R&D.The scenic beauty and the historical-artistic heritage lead us within the walls of an ambitious project where progress and projection towards the future go hand in hand with a long history of tradition and commitment.
Clessidra table, design Paolo Vernier. Sonny armchair, design Midj R&D.As we walk through the door, we allow our sensations to guide us in a one-of-a-kind experience. Just like its starred cuisine that offers peculiar flavors and combinations, the furnishing elements with clean, contemporary, and soft lines, create a perfect equation with the typical architecture of this land.
Clessidra table, design Paolo Vernier. Sonny armchair, design Midj R&D.The large Clessidra tables welcome diners indoors and allow intimate moments of conviviality during meals. The soft Sonny armchairs with a steel structure and velvet upholstery complete any moment of pleasure. The chosen shade? An intense and enveloping sky blue.
Guapa chair, Sempere#Poli Design. While, the elegant sled base Guapa chairs with a pink gold painted structure and finely worked leather seat, find their perfect spot on the large outdoor veranda.
Among the colors of the Mediterranean sea
Bright, welcoming, and with a touch of romanticism: we’re talking about the dining room of the L’Arbre restaurant in Montpellier, France.
Our practical square tables and elegant round tables with a white steel structure are neatly arranged within the spacious and splendid space.
Apelle chair and armchair, design Beatriz Sempere. The comfortable restaurant armchairs and chairs from the Apelle collection, are presented with a white painted steel structure to give continuity to the flooring, walls, and large curtained windows.
Apelle chair and armchair, design Beatriz Sempere. Apelle chair and armchair, design Beatriz Sempere.A hint of color is given by the few canvases placed on the walls and by the skilfully handcrafted leather seats. The surrounding environment inspires the color palette: ocher, which recalls the soft sandy stretches of the southern French coast and ocean blue, sophisticated and charming, like the depths of the Mediterranean Sea.
Spotting underwater beauties
The playful yet elegant furnishing is love at first sight as we enter the Bij Jef Restaurant in Den Hoorn, The Netherlands. Its vibrant shades recall the marine environment and reflect the peculiar location.
Guapa armchair, Sempere#Poli Design.Where to start? From the pavement and walls. The floor resembles a canvas with splashes of color. The choice of soft and bright turquoise green leads the diner on an exciting underwater dive.
Guapa armchair, Sempere#Poli Design. The white tablecloths make the ambiance appear lighter and floating and create a great contrast with the comfortable Guapa armchairs: made with a painted steel trestle base, the peculiar structure in natural leather recalls the corals of the abyss.
