Palate Kitchen opened its doors in February 2020 in a Georgian-style building in downtown Vancouver and quickly became a reference point for brunch in the city.
The colonial style that characterizes the external facade of the building is also reflected inside with very high ceilings and generously sized windows. It was these elements that inspired the interior design project.
As soon as you enter Palate Kitchen you are welcomed into a warm and pleasant atmosphere: natural light and very high ceilings make the space even wider.
The colors and finishes chosen for the furniture explicitly recall the natural world: The wood of the Danny armchairs, the green of the upholstery and walls are linked to the hanging plants positioned in various areas. Finally, the Sonny stools covered in blue leatherette recall the depths of the ocean.
