Tatel Ibiza

Ibiza, Spain

The interior design studio “ILMIODESIGN” designed the new restaurant “Tatel” in Ibiza (Spain), younger brother of “Tatel Madrid”. The direction of the works was entrusted to Michele Corbani and Andrea Spada, who conceived a dynamic yet elegant space.

The restaurant’s look perfectly matches the island’s environment thanks to marine tones used for tapestries and materials. Midj’s Apelle and Sonny chairs stand out in the main rooms, two different collections characterized by soft lines.

Sophistication and quality create a vibrant and welcoming environment, but never ostentatious or with superfluous elements.

As Andrea Spada points out: “In Tatel details coexist in harmony, recalling the style of a bygone era and at the same time looking at contemporary design; therefore we created many pieces exclusively for this space and combined them with other iconic designer products”.

One style, four ambiances:

The 1400 m2 of premises are divided into different communicating areas. The path that leads towards the heart of the restaurant starts from the terrace overlooking the sea. It then enters a large room with a bar and continues through the gallery opening onto a private lounge, ideal for parties and meetings that require the utmost discretion.

The studio “ILMIODESIGN” employed a wide range of materials in Tatel’s project. “We combined metals and stones with natural wood and molded glass. The result is a subtle balance and a different atmosphere that takes us back to the magic years of the ’30s”.
